Vintage Megaphone Pendant Lamp

A suspended Megaphone throws just the right amount of light to create a cheery atmosphere with an unexpected twist. In the last few months I’ve found several vintage Megaphones but this one was just the right size for a pendant lamp.

  4. ATG, the finished megaphone creation is soooo far away from what it was originally intended for. No more screaming at the top of your lungs…and no pom poms. It’s just about done; I’ll post photos this weekend…thanks.

  6. Man, I didn't even see that coming!! I thought maybe a pole lamp. Awesome! I'm so ready to rip out my boring normal lights, just waiting for the right cool stuff for replacement.

    Love this!

  7. Donna, I don’t think I’ll ever find ANY type of lamp in a store that I truly love. I’m slowly changing all the lighting in my house to my own. It’s much easier to find a piece of junk I like that can eventually be turned into a fixture. My son has already commissioned me to build him a headboard with built-in lighting. Thanks god the kid likes distressed finishes, rust and galvanized steel…because that’s what he’s getting.

    And…Thanks!
